Travis Wasser is a summa cum laude graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a member of the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI). He started in the field at 16, tagging along on cases with his father, David Wasser, who founded The Wasser Agency, Inc. in 1985.
What started as curiosity became a career. Travis worked alongside his father for over a decade, handling civil, federal, and criminal investigations while building his own professional relationships across South Florida's legal community. In 2021, he acquired the agency and founded Wasser Investigations Inc., carrying forward a 40-year legacy of reliable, results-driven investigative work.

A Legacy Rooted in South Florida's Legal Community
David Wasser spent years at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office working major crimes before launching The Wasser Agency, Inc. in 1985. Over four decades, he built a practice that attorneys trusted with their most sensitive and complex matters. His reputation was defined by integrity, sharp instincts, and an ability to connect with people that consistently put him in the right place at the right time.
That reputation extended well beyond the courtroom. In 2010, David played a central role in the investigation of the Paula Sladewski case, keeping it active when official leads stalled and drawing national attention to a victim who might otherwise have been forgotten. The case was later featured nationally on Dateline NBC.
